Cross-Departmental Group on Integration

An inter-departmental committee (known as a Cross-Departmental Group on Integration) comprising senior civil servants and chaired by the Minister has been established to assist the Minister for Integration to drive forward the integration agenda in relevant Departments and agencies. The Committee is representative of the Departments and Offices with a significant role in integration. The following Departments/Organisations are represented on the Group :-

The Department of the Taoiseach
The Department of Finance
The Department of Justice and Law Reform
The Department of Education and Skills
The Department of Environment , Heritage and Local Government
The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment
The Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs
The Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism
The Department of Health and Children
The Department of Social Protection
Central Statistics Office
Office of the Minister for Integration


The Committee meets as required to review activities in relation to integration and to resolve issues which arise.
